Turns out screens aren’t the main reason. Structure matters more than we thought.

Hi ,

A new study analyzing data from nearly 121,000 U.S. high school students found that teenagers are sleeping less than ever. In 2023, about three out of four teens reported getting fewer than eight hours of sleep, with the number getting extremely short sleep, five hours or less, rising sharply since 2007.

Surprisingly, researchers didn’t find strong evidence that screen time was the main culprit. Teens with minimal screen use were actually seeing an even larger rise in sleep loss than those who spend hours online. Scientists suspect the real drivers may be a combination of early school start times, packed schedules, and overall lifestyle pressures.

Structure Matters — In Sleep and in Data Centers
Cable Management Racks
Experts say one of the most important factors for better sleep is maintaining consistent structure: a predictable schedule, a stable environment, and a system designed to support healthy rhythms.

The same principle applies inside a data center. When racks lack clear cable routing and structure, equipment becomes harder to manage, airflow suffers, and troubleshooting takes longer than it should.

Our Cable Management Racks help bring order back to the environment:

  • Organized cable pathways that keep power and network runs clean and visible
  • Improved airflow by preventing cable buildup that blocks cooling paths
  • Consistent rack layouts that make maintenance and expansion far easier

Just like good sleep habits, a well-structured environment keeps everything running better over the long term.
